Signwriting,


We get the main panels ready early to give Dave Moore plenty of time to do what he does best. The order in which each part is painted depends upon the boat and the colour scheme, but we try and keep out of Dave,s way. You can tell he used to be a school teacher!

Wow!

What does a 'narrowboat' do? (I mean, aside from the obvious traversing across the water.) What is its specialized function?

Narrowboats were originaly built to carry cargo on the network of narrow canals across England and Wales.Today the canals are mainly used for leisure, but many modern boats like this one are built in the old style.A useful source of information is at
